EPITAPH - THE PROJECT wurde von Haeph C., einem ehemaligen Mitglied der österreichischen Formation EPITAPH (1980-1983) im Jahre 2005 als Solo-Studioprojekt gegründet. Beeinflusst von symphonischen Progbands der 70er Jahre, aber auch von jüngeren Gruppen wie zb. The Enid, Marillion, IQ, schafft Haeph C. eine Mischung aus klassischer, selbstkomponierter Musik, gespielt auf Syntesizern und Keyboards, häufig mit Pauken und Becken statt eines normalen Schlagzeugs. Die Flöten und Brass-Instrumente haben in seiner Musik einen markanten Stellenwert, synfonische Orchestrationen sind fixer Bestandteil in vielen seiner Werke, die ausschliesslich instrumentaler Natur sind. Die Verschmelzung teilweise psychedelischer Elemente mit flächigen Streicherparts und dann wieder sanften Gitarrenarpeggios charakterisieren den eigenen Sound von EPITAPH - THE PROJECT.

--- EPITAPH - THE PROJECT was founded by Haeph C., a former member of the Austrian Band EPITAPH as a solo studio project. Influenced by symphonic progbands of the 70th, nontheless by younger groups like The Enid, Marillion, IQ Haeph C. creates a mix of classic, selfcomposed music, played with synths and keyboards, often using classical percussion instead of rock drumkits. Winds and brass instruments playing significant role, symphonic orchestration is part of many of his musical creations, which are exclusively instrumental. The fusion of psychedelic and symphonic elements including paddy strings and arpeggiating guitars are characterising the unique sound of EPITAPH - THE PROJECT.
